Institute for Space Tourism (IST)

About Us:

Nestled on the iconic Space Coast of Florida, IST stands at the forefront of space tourism. We have witnessed the pioneering way humans explore and experience the cosmos.

IST is dedicated to making space travel not just a dream for the elite, but a reality for explorers, researchers, and adventurers from around the globe. Our mission is to democratize access to space, and with the advent of SpaceX's Starship and Blue Origin’s New Glenn, we are on the brink of a new era in space travel.

Proceeds from IST merchandise will fuel the creation of

  • Peer-Reviewed Academic Journal: to cover all topics relevant to station life and identify promising technologies

  • Technology Prototyping: to increase the readiness level and bring products to market

The Reusability Revolution:

Reusability represents a monumental leap in space technology. It's not just another rocket!

Here's how Starship and New Glenn are revolutionizing access to low Earth orbit, the Moon, Mars and beyond:

Lower Cost enabled by Rapid Reusability = Quicker flights for less cost (Could be under $10 million per flight by 2030)

Higher Capacity enabled by larger payloads = Larger stations and more people per flight (>100 people projected by 2030)

Sustainability enabled by methane-fueled engines = More environmentally friendly fuel than the dirty solid propellants of Boosters

SpaceX: Starship

Blue Origin: New Glenn
